Rebeka – 5. chapter
On Monday morning, Erik turned on his computer. It hadn’t even properly booted up when a message from Rebeka pinged on his phone. Curious, he played the video.
He watched himself holding her bent over the desk. A satisfied smile spread across his face as he relived the way she had resisted, how he’d had to hold her hands. How she’d tried to break free when he roughly hiked up her skirt and tore off her panties. The recording had no sound, but it was obvious when she screamed and started fighting harder.
The smile slowly froze on his face.
When the video ended with Rebeka lying limp on the desk, without even the slightest hint of her orgasms visible, it hit him. He had just watched a full-fledged rape.
He held his breath. In a second, he bolted into the hallway and moments later was closing her office door from the inside.
“Are you out of your mind?! They’ll lock me up!”
She looked up at him, slowly leaned the back of her head against the headrest, and replied coldly.
“Yes. There are reasonable grounds for that.”
He hadn’t expected that.
“What do you mean?”
She smiled maliciously.
“I’m just confirming what you said. The only thing I’m still deciding is whether it’ll be more entertaining to send it to your professional network, or straight to the police. Probably both at once, don’t you think?”
He went pale. He began to process what she had just said and sank into a chair.
“You wouldn’t do that,” he said, having to work hard to keep his voice from breaking.
“Want to risk it?”
The blood in his veins began to turn to ice.
“You’d completely destroy my life.”
“I’m glad you understand that,” she said, winking. “For now, you can go.”
He stared at her frozen for a moment longer, then stood up in a haze.
“Erik!”
The loud call snapped him out of his desperate thoughts. Clearly not the first time his name had been said. His eyes darted across all the faces in the conference room.
“Are you here with us?” a colleague’s snide tone demanded an answer.
“Uh… sorry. Yes,” Erik shook his head as if hoping it might change the facts.
He dropped his gaze to his materials and hesitated. Today, he was supposed to present the advantages of at least a partial entry into the new market, the counterargument to Rebeka’s. But that had been true before this morning.
Uncertain, he looked up at her.
“I… think we might try to find some kind of compromise,” he finally managed.
A dead silence fell over the room. That didn’t surprise him. What did surprise him, on the other hand, was that Rebeka not only didn’t smile in triumph, she even backed him up by agreeing and quickly ending the meeting.
“Please. I can’t work like this,” he whispered to Rebeka later in the privacy of her office. “Destroy the recording. I’ll do anything you want.”
“I’m sure you will,” she replied coldly and, standing across from him, leaned her backside against the desk.
She placed her palms on her tight skirt and slowly lifted it almost to her waist. His mouth parted when he saw she wasn’t wearing panties, and he froze. Rebeka spread her bare thighs without a word, her stiletto heels sinking deeper into the carpet.
He needed another second before he came to terms with the fact that he was going to obey an order that could not possibly be misunderstood.
And he knelt between her heels.
