Rebeka – 13. chapter
First time here? Start with Chapter 1.
Rebeka hadn’t managed to get Erik out of her head for days. Not now either. Lying in bed with her laptop resting on the comforter and papers scattered all around, she was thinking about him again. She’d replayed it in her mind a thousand times already, yet still couldn’t pinpoint why she’d acted the way she had in his office. For some reason, she hadn’t felt threatened. She’d lost control of the situation almost immediately. Lost control of herself. And it hadn’t bothered her.
Annoyed, she slammed the laptop shut, moved it beside her, and slid down against a large pillow into a half-reclined position. Maybe it had been him. He’d touched her passionately but attentively, even though it had been obvious his arousal was winning out over reason completely. He’d gotten lost in the situation just like she had. He hadn’t tried to manipulate her. Or control her. He’d simply wanted her. Without an agenda.
Rebeka swallowed and slipped her hand beneath the comforter, straight into her panties. She closed her eyes and exhaled in pleasure.
She didn’t even need lubricant like she usually did. Her own wetness immediately made it easy for her fingers to slip through the fine hair. Stubbornly, she kept the image from the last porn she’d watched fixed in her mind, just to keep Erik out of her head. But the more she teased herself and relaxed, the more he crept into her fantasies anyway. His kisses. His touch. Her fingers stopped being enough. She wanted to feel him inside her.
The vibrator from her nightstand only sharpened the memory of how he’d taken her. How he’d driven into her passionately until her body had been overtaken by an insanely powerful orgasm… She squeezed her eyes shut for a moment, until she managed to collect herself. Then she thought for a moment, grabbed the vibrator, and flung it angrily against the wall.
“Fuck you, Demský!”

The following weeks passed quietly. Erik kept his distance, but he noticed he could always sense when Rebeka was nearby. A strange tension took hold of him at every meeting, in every conversation, even when she was standing far away. And now, walking out of the kitchenette with a cup of coffee in his hand, he suddenly knew she was standing at the end of the hallway.
She hadn’t noticed him. Phone pressed to her ear, she was frowning. It looked as if she shouted a word. Once. Then again. And then she fell silent and went rigid. He hesitated, wondering if he’d really seen her sway. Then her phone slipped from her hand, even though her hand was still held to her ear.
Erik went alert. He set his coffee down on the nearest cabinet. Rebeka bent down for the phone in a very uncoordinated movement, then slowly made her way into her office. With a bad feeling, he rushed after her.
Her door was already closed. He flung it open.
Rebeka was bent over her desk, both hands braced against it.
“Come back later!” she barked harshly without turning around.
“No,” he said, closing the door behind him.
She turned her head slightly.
“Erik, really not now, please. I’ll come find you later.”
Her voice was shaking.
“What happened?” he asked.
She spun around.
“Get out!” she yelled. Her eyes were glossy with tears.
Surprised and confused, but determined, he shook his head and stepped closer.
“Who called you?”
“…my brother,” she said finally. “He said he’d had an accident… And the call cut off… My brother rides a motorcycle… He has Bluetooth in his helmet!”
